Men in Blue – What left to achieve?

What a fantabulous performance by Team India on 30th October’13 in Nagpur. This whole series has been a treat for the eyes. They have proved that there is nothing left in the field of cricket which they cannot achieve. Chasing a target of 350 and winning is indeed a great feat and we are left wondering how much more our Indian cricket team is capable of.

The present Indian team is full of excellent players especially in the batting line-up and it goes down to the 6th /7th player in the team. Not to mention, our bowling line-up is also good but observing their performances in the last few matches, I believe they need to pull up their socks a bit as it does not happen always that we give away more than 300 runs to the opponent team no matter how batting-friendly the pitch is. I know it is easier to say than do and I will never be able to understand how much pressure our players are under on the field but as an audience I know that there is still much room for the improvement in the bowling area definitely. After all, we shouldn’t put so much pressure on our batsmen who are giving their breath away every time to chase huge targets and winning.

Apart from the above, the team India is performing brilliantly and is maintaining its position as no. 1 team in the world. No doubt, we are proud of them and will always be even when the times are not right. Hats off to M S Dhoni for being an amazing captain. The best thing about him is that he is always calm & cool no matter how good or bad the situation is. He is very level-headed and maintains his restrain in every situation. This is the sign of a good leader. He is my husband’s favourite and he always says that there is a lot which people can learn from Dhoni. I have also started admiring him though my all time favourite has always been Saurav Ganguli. J….

So, to sum up, we are proud of the Men in Blue for their good team work & superb performances. May they achieve much more in the years to come and India assures that it will always be behind them through thick-and-thin.
